St.Johnstone 1-2: Celtic: Celts avoid Champs League hangover with the late, late show.

Celtic dominated St.Johnstone all afternoon in Perth but couldn’t put Callum Davidson’s men to the sword with an Andy Considine own goal just before half time all we had to show for it.

In the second half, Celtic fell into the dangerous trap of thinking the game was over despite some shots across the bow looked to have the three points wrapped up when Alex Mitchell equalised in the 93rd minute for the hosts.

But Celtic never give up and responded almost immediately as Giorgos Giakoumakis finished off an excellent Bernabai cross at point-blank range to send the travelling support wild and keep us on top.
