Another Champions League night and once again Celtic were found wanting.
Passing up clear-cut chances in the first half Celtic ran out of ideas in the second period of play and the German visitors went through the gears with Werner and Forsberg netting in the 75th and 84th minute condemning the men in Hoops to a rather eye-watering 16th defeat in 22 Champions League games.
We are no officially out of the Champions League and our hopes of playing in Europe after Christmas in the Europa League are also hanging by a thread as Shakhtar claimed a shock home draw with Madrid.
